How to pay for TRON energy in USDT with 0 TRX
Updated 31 October 2026. Our prices and network costs are checked on TRON mainnet; other services' figures come from their help pages and from on-chain checks. Prices can change.
Short answer
You can put energy on a TRON address with no TRX by paying in USDT: no wallet connection, only your public address. At Quietfee you pay from a wallet or an exchange on any of nine networks, and energy for one transfer costs 2.51 TRX, about $0.85 when paid in USDT. Wallets with built-in rental and GasFree also take USDT; the table compares them.
| Option | What you do | Paid in | Per transfer |
|---|---|---|---|
| Quietfee | Give the address, no connection | USDT or TRX | 2.51 TRX (about $0.85 in USDT), recipient without USDT 5.02 TRX |
| TokenPocket | Built into the wallet | USDT or TRX | 0.78 USDT, recipient without USDT 1.09 USDT |
| Trust Wallet | Built into the wallet | TRX or USDT | Not published, shown before you confirm |
| GasFree | Sign from a GasFree address | USDT | 1.5 USDT, first 3.0 USDT |
Step by step
Open the Telegram bot and send the TRON address you will send USDT from. Tap the top-up button: the bot gives you personal payment addresses on TRON, BSC, Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Avalanche, Base and Solana.
Send at least 5 USDT to the address for the network you chose, from a wallet or straight from an exchange. When it is credited, choose a package paid from the balance. Energy arrives on your address, usually within a minute or two, and stays for one hour.
Then send USDT from your wallet as usual. Money on the balance is spent only on energy and is not paid back; the terms give the conversion rate and the rest of the conditions.
What 0 TRX does and does not cover
Energy pays for the contract call. The transaction also needs about 345 bytes of bandwidth: each activated account gets 600 bytes free a day, enough for one transfer. A second transfer the same day needs about 0.345 TRX.
Energy can be delegated only to an activated address. An address that has only ever received USDT may not be activated yet.
When another option is better
If you already use TokenPocket, its built-in rental costs a fixed 0.78 USDT for a recipient who holds USDT, about the same as our $0.85 in USDT or less, depending on the TRX rate. Trust Wallet rents energy on its own and shows the total before you confirm. Quietfee makes more sense when you want to pay from an exchange or another network, or you send from a wallet with no rental built in.
Check before you pay
A real energy service needs only your address. Do not connect a wallet or sign an approval for USDT on a site that promises cheap energy. We launched in October 2026 and have no independent reviews yet, so start with the smallest package and check the energy in your wallet or on Tronscan.
