How to check a USDT TRC20 transaction

Updated 26 October 2026. Figures checked on TRON mainnet transactions and network parameters.

Short answer

A USDT transfer on TRON is checked by its hash (txID) or by the address on tronscan.org. Look at three things: the result says SUCCESS, the token is real USDT with the contract TR7NHq…Lj6t, and the transaction is confirmed, which on TRON takes about a minute.

Where to find the hash

Your wallet or exchange shows it in the transfer details as TxID or hash: 64 letters and digits. Paste it into the search on tronscan.org. If you only know the address, open it and look at the TRC20 transfers tab.

What to check

Result: SUCCESS means the USDT moved. OUT_OF_ENERGY or REVERT means it did not, and the fee for the attempt was still charged; see the OUT_OF_ENERGY guide.

Token: the transfer section must show the contract TR7NHqjeKQxGTCi8q8ZY4pL8otSzgjLj6t. A token called USDT with any other contract is worthless.

Resources: the energy used and the TRX burned show what the transfer cost. A full burn is 6.43 TRX, or 13.03 TRX to a new holder; the calculator adds this up for a whole week.

If the transaction isn't found

An exchange may not have sent it yet: withdrawals often wait for review. A hash starting with 0x belongs to Ethereum or BNB Chain and has to be checked on etherscan.io or bscscan.com. If the wallet shows the transfer but tronscan doesn't, it was never broadcast and the money did not leave.
